sohc start up trouble

Default sohc start up trouble

i have a sohc honda motor and it wont start. its not a bad starter its not the battery and the engine isnt locked up. i need to kno if anyone has any suggestions about the wiring for it ? i found the cylinoid wire going through the firewall but i cant find where it goes after that

any sounds at all when you turn the key? can you hear the ecu hum?

could be a bad battery wire. My car would act up sometimes like this. Bump the starter with the battery with the key on and the car in neutral and see if it starts.

the ecu hums and all that but then i go to start it and it doesn kick over things click and all that jazz but after that ot doesnt go

Deffinetly sounds like either a bad starter or battery.

Get someone to hit the starter with something metal when you are trying to start it.

Try to jump it with another car or a jump box.

Check for spark.

Sounds like an ignitor or ignition coil.
