I know cosmo spoke up in the past and mentioned that he buys drums of it from somewhere local, but I am looking for the cheapest place locally that sells it. It would be even nicer if it could be bought in 5 gallon containers instead of 55 gallon drums. Anyone have any input?

 

If you still need some, let me know. I may be able to sell you some 1 gallon jugs or something.

 

Yea Id like some. I dont really want to pay an arm and a leg for it, but I would like some for use in my alcohol injection system. I would rather not use windshield washer fluid that would likely contain a mystery amount of methanol, if at all possible.

 

i know proline performance can get you anything you need here in roanoke. not sure on the prices though.

 

when I worked there (3 years ago) the price was $130 for 55gal drum...doubt it's gone up too much from then

 

Why not use isopropyl alcohol? Better anyways.. and avaliable anywhere.. you can get gallon jugs at walmart even..

 

Marshall, do you know if they can sell it in smaller quantities? I am concerned about buying a full 55 gallon drum. Also, is methanol 100% compatible with typical fuel jugs?

Isopropyl alcohol is much more expensive than methanol. What makes you say that its better? Every statistic of Isopropyl alcohol that Ive seen shows that it is worse than both ethanol and methanol.
