Default The WRX is finally gone...

During my year long absence, I had nothing to mention other than my wrx and how bad it sucked and I finally unloaded my broken down, haggard wrx and picked up a 2003 Infiniti G35. Needless to say Im pretty stoked because this car performs at a level my wrx could only dream of. Not saying theres anything wrong with Wrxs but mine in particular had too many parts swapped back and forth off of it.

Anyhoo, I will post some picts later on but for now it looks exactly like this!

Very nice, I like it. Just be careful, some of those WRXs are mean machines, and will leave you in the dust...Choose your battles carefully, especially in rainy/snowy weather.

Overall those are great cars, any decisions for performance modifications yet or are you going to hold off for a bit?

I was one of the originators on the WRX (roanoke) scene back when FC135, Cosmo and myself ran together. We each had a stage 4 Wrxs so I am fully competient of what they can and cant do... granted, I was referring to the stock config of the car in comparison with the G35. Anyway Im sure there are some civics out there who could outrun me easily.
As for my future plans for the G35... its just a pimp mobile, not out to race or modify! I made a promise to my wife that I would not touch anything under the hood (this is how i ruined my wrx) and the most I am considering doing is some Stillen body parts... even though the idea of a Stage 2 twin screw is appetizing!!!!!!!

I remember your WRX.. Glad to see you're still alive and doing well bro.

If ya don't mind my asking, did you sell the WRX private party, or trade it in? Did you have to bite the bullet to unload it and get a new car? I'm sort of in the same boat right now.

Traded it away in West Virginia! The Infiniti was 23,600 and they gave me 12,600 for my WRX and I put 1k down. I owed 14,300 on the wrx so I had to bite the 1000. Totally worth it! The Infiniti has been my "dream car" since it came out and since its the closest thing to a Skyline I'll probably ever own.

Just dont EVER go to Shelor even though they have some decent cars!!!!!!!!
