well my clear coat started peeling after having a new paint job last year!! and i was wondering if anyone knew how to stop it from getting worse,or if i could just get come clear coat spray and spray over it.Im just looking to stop it from peeling not to cover it up.

 

well if you got the paint job done professionally and its peeling after a year id check back to see if they warranty there work. cuz if its peeling after a year thas a shitty ass job.

i wouldnt recomend spraying it with rattle can clear ..your best bet would be to wash, wax and lay on the wax that'll help it protect the paint and stuff for a bit. other then that you can't really do much unless you go and get it sprayed again.

 

well it was a side job,it was done by a 'pro'but not at a shop,ya i was told that wax would help.

well what shop would yall recommend to get it painted at,something not expensive with no body work

we need to see the car, the severity of the peeling, if its effecting the basecoat, how much of the car your wanting done or if your just wanting parts of it done. its going to be more than 200 dollars so if your looking for something super duper cheap i wouldnt waste your time coming to the shop. if you want it done right with good clearcoat its not gonna be maaco prices.
