I'm looking for a flexible part time job in Roanoke. Part time like super part time. Maybe 10-16 hrs a week / 2 days a week. I'm not looking for anything permanent, just throughout snowboarding season. My job now has pretty much laid me off (I haven't had any hours for the past 2.5 weeks) and i just need a little something to support myself during the snowboarding season. I'll pretty much do anything (I'm sure someone will take advantage of that statement) and I'd say I'm worth about $10 an hour.
i know you're probably not willing to do it,but i saw an ad for Taco Bell the other day,10-40 hours a week.i'm sure it won't pay $10/h though.
Chris
If it came right down to it, I would have NO problem working at a fast food place. However, I'm sure it will never come to that. Screw working for just over min. wage. But like I said, if that was the only work I could find, I'd be all for it.
If you can drive to Christiansburg, EchoStar is almost always hiring. I worked there for a few months several years ago when they first opened that call center. The first couple of weeks are nothing but training while you get paid anyway.

I doubt you will find a job that will be pay $10< for a part time job like you want.
I second that. your best bet would be to hit places like Food Lion or Movie Starz or maybe do car washing and detailing for a local dearlership. Can make good money that way.
