Its A Jeep Thing
i wouldnt even worry about the audio. ive got an 86 jeep cj7 and even with the top fully on there is A LOT of wind noise. so, naturally, you just take the top and the door off and its all gravy
get some big tires, a small lift, and go muddin

ya, i had a 98 wrangler rag top. i had custom waterproof 2 10" subs. (my friend custom installed it and the amp so it was waterproof, pretty fuckn tight)
but ya... regardless they are noisy vehicles. pointless to go really "serious" for audio in a wrangler. its a jeep.
specially if you get some 33's or something, my 33 13s were loud as shit =]

Audio in a jeep? Get a sound bar (some decent speakers to go in them), some decent 4X6 up front, 2 loud ass 10" subs in the back, amps to push em all. It won't sound all that great compared to a car, but it'll be decent. And make sure you hide/bolt down all your stuff otherwise it will be stolen, I know from experience on that one.
lol, ya. i had a sound bar as well, and the box was bolted to the bed.
i gutted the entire jeep, all carpet and shit. its a jeep... not a car =]
and i totally agree. i ran that thing in the ground when i had it.. every chance i had to jump a curb and go play in the sand/mud i was there.
and it came in handy that time we had the hurricane in 99. i had 3" lift and 33's and i still had water coming in the drain plugs.
