People,

With 2007 already being planned I would like you to express your wants to Richmond Dragway. I think if enough people talk Johnny will listen.

go to www.richmonddragway.com and log into the forums, there is a post there for 2007....

Things I would like to see...

Run Every Friday Night
Have a Friday Night Points Program
Do away with Street Class on Race Day (Run it Friday Night)
True Street Class on Friday nights (1/8th Mile Prob)
More Wednesday night races
More Quick 8 Races
Heads up Big Dog Races

instead of people having to register to make one post, can someone direct this thread to johnny and the staff?

I think every Friday night would be a good idea. I know I didnt race much this summer because the bi-weekly racing fell on a night that I couldnt attend. If having workers on every Friday is a problem, hire an alternate staff. Racing every Friday night would keep Richmond more competitive with VMP.

I understand, but fuck if it's unsafe at the top end, how about NO RACING until it's safe, not this run the 1/8th shit. As a street car if I go and pay and then find out I have to run the 1/8th, I should get my money back or they should clean the track. It's pretty simple.

And +32 for running EVERY friday night.

Guys,

They hardly ever run 1/8th mile.... The one Friday night they did that was because of the cold weather and track temps.

They always run October Race days all 1/8th mile to prepare for the bracket finals. Many of the tracks in our division are 1/8th mile only....

Super Pro will always be 1/8th mile since there is not enough shutdown for them.

I just hate driving there, paying my 15 dollars and getting 1 maybe 2 runs in in a 3-4 hour time span. It seems that classes should be spread out over a couple nights a week instead of everyone between 5pm-10pm on a Friday night.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 02:58 PM.
