what year civics did the D16Y7 come out of and what was the ecu any help will be greatly appreciated

Mines running off of the stock PM5 in my 89 dx. Dont ask me how.

 

chris all you need is a obd1 ecu.. depends on the head you have a v-tech head or not? i still have the chipped one out the type-r but lil chris is running it because that the only way his car will not throw a code lol so i prob just sell it to him let me know tho i can get you 1 easy.. call some time.. i gave your cusin a LS ecu you can use if its non-v-tech

ight cool all i got are vtec ecu's i got one from lil chris from a sohc vtec a gsr ecu and a pt3 what ever thats from. well be at chris' saturday working on it if wanna stop by. yea and i dont have that kick ass vtec.
