my friends h22 loses over half power when you push the gas half way down... would this be a sign that the secondary butterfly isnt working??? I hate those motors and told him it was going to be nothing but problems and now he finally believes me!!!

mine did that come to find out the tps was bad....replace and adjust it...

on my h22 the secondaries were activated by vacuum when you give the throttle cable a yank the vacuum would open the secondary butterflies.....but i have heard there are some that are controlled electronically

 

fixed the problem!!!! vacum diaphram for the secondaries was sticking and keeping them from opening....I'm guessing because the car was sitting for so long.
