well i have been having this problem for a while now am now its really starting to piss me off. When i go to turn on my lights or turn on my heat my car "pulses". My lights flicker my dash flickers and my engien is doin the same pulsing to, my idle also pulses. It will bog to abouit 800 and then go back up to 1100. Its wierd I have already changed my IACV valve, I have also mades sure all my belts were tight, i even changed my cap and rotor anyone have any suggestions and hell if someone could figure it out and come to my house and fix it i would pay good money

 

have you checked all the ground's?

 

yeah thats the first thing i checked

 

alt. ground or a ecu ground...has to be..or a failing alt.

 

alternator is dying... start your car and disconnect the battery..... see what happens>?

 

Could also be a bad battery, the battery takes quite a bit of strain off of the alternator during transient current draw.

 

Well when the cars off and i turn all my lights on i have no problems its just when the car starts its when the pulsing starts it also does it when im driving too the lights still pulse

 

then there is a really good chance its the alternator
