mid week test and tune session.

MIR is having a test and tune session tomorrow night. gates open at 6, and runs start at 6. they run till everyone's through, none of this VMP "ok, it's our curfew" bs, this is a REAL track.... a real FAST track.

the weather's lookin ok for this event up ther guys. if anyone's interesed in going, im me @ lilboostnmy2300 and lemme kno. it's only about an 1:10 min trip from the richmond area. it's jus on the other side of the md line off rt. 301.

how long of a drive is it from here? hopefully its changed i went once two years ago, it looked kinda half assed, the pit was like a gravel lot the size of my back yard and the stands were only on one side and something out of a elementary school baseball field... after last weekend i'm kinda now a VMP hater, but its still supposedly the fastest track in the entire world when funny cars and stuff like that want to break records

 

eh you cant hate vmp too much...you also got to take in consideration that it was the first weekend with out rain on friday

 

wait maybe it was budd's creek that i went to, it was either that or MIR but whichever it was it was super shitty... yea i still like VMP and if a ton of people show up its not their fault, i was just made that on motorcycle night they put us 2nd to all the cars, if i went on any other night i would totally understand, last year they really took care of us on the once in a blue moon bike nights... ah well it was the first good night so maybe next time will be better

MIR has had a major makover in the last year.. it is a VERY nice track...

as for how far... you'll have to go through fredericksburg most liekly.. if i were you guys coming from richmond i'd get on 95 till the falmouth exit (133 i think) then go straight towards falmouth to route 3, take that to 301
