Which Project To Go With?

Which Project To Go With?
Right now I have a 2002 Ford Lightning. I am trying to get another project going because driving a truck everyday kind of sucks. I am looking into two different projects:
First: 93 RX-7 with a LS2 swap. From searching around I could get a RX-7 for about $6000-$8000 and then get a LS2 or LS1 for around $3000-$6000 depending on which motor I go with. The motors come with everything and come with about 30,000 miles on them or less. I could either do the swap myself which would be a pain, or pay hinsonsupercars $8,000 to do everything and add in a whole list of parts extra for the cooling system exhaust and headers, etc. Should be a low 11 if not 10 sec car in the 1/4 with slicks.
Second: 93-95 Civic Hatch with K24 fully built. I could get the hatch for around $3000 or less. The motor would be around $2500 with tranny. I don't know how much it would cost for install or parts yet or building the motor. I don't know what it would run in the 1/4 either. Hopefully it would be able to find it's way into the 12's with slicks. Will either supercharger it or turbo it later on, but want to play with the stock motor at first.
I could also do the LS1or LS2 swap into a 95-up 240SX, but I like the RX-7 so much better.

Re: Which Project To Go With?
depends on how much money you are willing to spend. sounds like you have enough to do either car. i'd go with the rx-7, they're fun to drive and if you have the money it wouldnt be a bad project besides you also have to think of do you want a front wheel drive honda or a rear wheel drive mazda?

Re: Which Project To Go With?
ehhh dont think fd's are that cheap
They are around that price for a non-turbo auto that needs alittle body work. Which project would be cheaper? I like the RX-7 project, but know it will cost me around $20,000 to get it done and looking good. Could do it alot cheaper if I installed the motor myself or got help from someone. The civic project probably would be around $10,000 to get everything done right and looking good.
