Hey, does anyone here know of someone that can downgrade a 2.6 psp to 1.5? Let me know if you do-- thanks!

why would you want to downgrade a psp?

 

Downgrade to play snes emulations, run homebrew, etc. I believe you would have to purchase GTA LCS to downgrade from the 2.6 patch because I have to do the downgrade too. Check this site out here which is a good site for psp mods. http://pspupdates.qj.net/

Not anymore! Someone developed a program that doesn't require the GTA hack. I just ran it last week and it worked like a charm. Piece of cake! Also this same person developed an updater that allows all the best parts of the higher versions but still maintains it's 1.5 features i.e. hombrews and such. All you have to do is upgrade to 2.71 and then run the program to downgrade to 1.5!

Just read the purple section. In their downloads section you can get 2.71 updater!

Let me know if you have any questions. Just make sure before you downgrade you reformat your memory stick and reapply original settings. The hardest part is getting the program to start and change the screen to red. Just do like it says just turn it off and restart and try it again. Took me about 10 tries to get it to start!
