Ok so, lately I've been noticing these on the road, and what the fuck are they? Looks similar to the old red light cams... but I thought those were ruled as an "invasion of privacy"?

Anyone else seen them? I've noticed one at the light by little river and annandale rd, and on 495 near the gallows rd exit.

Tell me these aren't speed cameras...?

I thought that at first... but there's one in the median of 495 just before gallows rd heading north. That threw me off like whoa.

 

could be a traffic camera those been around forever

 

what are the white camaras that sit over top of the lights in loudon sterling area

 

those are emergency lights when ambulances get close they detect the lights and trigger the traffic flow of the direction of the ambulance to get the green.
