Ok...just got an offer on an 2001 saturn station wagon, the lw300 4 door.....for only 1,340 it's an repo that was volenteraly(sp) turned over peacefully kbb is roughly $7,000 the bad news is because it's newer my insurance goes up 150 bucks

I have never owned a saturn so I can't speak from experience but from everyone that I have spoken with no saturns are the same. It will either be a good car or a shitty car there is no in between. You will be taking a gamble on it.

I know GM has had major issues with their saturn lineup in the past.

If you have the offer for a straight up trade.. take the trade.. sell the saturn and buy a used yota. You can thank me later.

If you have to put a substantial amount down on top of a trade, I wouldn't bother with it.

 

I wouldn't bother because you're just going to ruin it anyway..

An old friend of mine used to kick the shit out of his moms car and run and dive into it just to prove it wouldn't dent. LOL!

They aren't bad cars. they have a few issues to look out for tho. the biggest being the rear end alignment chopping up the tires, and the oil cooler under the intake plenum leaking coolant. But other than that, they aren't bad cars at all, and with the V6 they are prety quick.
