So I bought a 1995 Nissan Sentra GXE when I was a Junior in High School. At first I didn't intend to mod it at all, but then later I decided to. I fixed the engine by putting a new head in it (the old one was cracked) and since then have had no problems at all. It runs fine. Its automatic and shifts fine. I bought a body kit and had it put on by Final Phase. But lately I've just lost interest, and I don't know if I want to keep it and get it painted or sell it now. My original plans were to put an SR20DET Bluebird in it, but I doubt I'll ever have the money for that. So now I'm really considering selling it and getting something thats cheaper and maybe a little faster.

So that being said, what do you think its worth? I was thinking $4,000 is a good price, especially with the work thats been done to it, all it needs is a paint job....

 

you might have a hard time getting that or maybe im wrong ive been trying to sell my 95 altima for 3k and know one has bit and i have a stage 2 clutch lightened flywheel 5-speed swap intake headers an catback. i dont know though good luck on the sale.

 

honestly like $2500 maybe, seen the car in person and though the body work is good, it either needs paint or returned to stock and paint.

 

yeah I recommend putting it back to stock, then selling it to a college kid. It'd be a perfect car. 4k is abit high, and I know you probably spent alot to get the car where it is, 99.9% of customers wont appreciate what youve done.

It's a 95 automatic Sentra with an out of style body kit, a big wing, primer that's been exposed to the weather, and no performance mods. $4k is a bit optimistic.

why do people think mods will get 'em more resale value?? especially rice mods? if anything, i wouldn't pay more then a grand for that sentra considering how much i will have to put into it to bring it back to stock form.

No matter what kind of mods you do to a car, you can't expect to make it back when selling the car.
