Default Question about acura motors and heads

which would be better for power.
1)GSR block and head already in a car
2)getting a LS and putting a GSR head on it

It all depends on what you want to do with it.

by the way Ls/Vtec is more powerful.....especially if you plan on building the motor.

I don't like GSR heads...
the b16 head is the exact same casting as the ITR head. It flows better stock then the GSR head.

To add, the GSR head will give you a higher static compression ration in any situation. The debate of which head is better has gone on for ever and it really comes down to what your purpose is.

I think a ls bottom end and a b16 head is the way to do it, if it is done correctly...................you will run into some problems, but who doesn't? definately do the ls bottom and b16 head, it'll be nasty.
