5cylinder acura legend injector help my built d16???
first i have no type of engine management or chip at the time -i know thats my 1st mistake
My setup: i have a a6 bottom end with p29 pistons, king bearing,rings,etc. COMPRESSION AVERAGED AT 13:1
p28 ecu,10% better flow oil pump, y8 head gasket,with z6 head and an unknown cam i picked up that i maybe removing for a stock cam soon and d15b7 injector: and 94 integra ls fuel pump: I RUN BP PREMIUM GAS WITH A GALLON OF CAM 2 EVERY FILL UP
I have played with the time at the crank and dizzy until i didnt have anymore spark knock during take of or reving at idle, however the timing is so advaced on dizzy that i have no power through out my powerband(like driving a stock z6 or worse)
When im driving: the car really doesnt have much pull and around 4200rpms with the throttle at 80-100%(vtec range) the car makes a hissing noise what we like to call rattle snake spark knock- im not gonna continue driving it this way the motor has exactly 100miles on it as of last night and the lest sohc i built with the same setup did the exact thing and when i took it apart the compression rings at the top of the piston were seized on the piston from constant spark knock i dont want this to happen again
THE PUPOSE OF THE 5 CYLINDER ACURA LEGEND INJECTORS- im hopping these injectors i picked up out of pick and pull will spray more fuel into the motor to stop the spark knock and give my car more power.
Does any body know the flow of the 5 cylinder legend injector compared to the d15b7 stock dx injectors???: - alot of people said try prelude injector but i havent come across any and do i need to run a risistor box for the legend injectors???(

and my cousin had the exact setup as mines a few month ago and his didnt spark knock no tuning was done to his car at all i dont understand it
im thinking at the moment its gotta be the injectors
