Question Steering wheel wobble when press the brakes...

should i get the rotors turned or replace them?

01 accord coupe 4cyl

If you just have them turned there is still the possibility that they will still be slightly warped. New rotors cost anywhere from $20-$35 per rotor for that car. Most places charge $10-$15 to turn each rotor. Just spend a little extra and get new rotors.

New rotors, new pads, don't buy junk

While you are under there.. check our your ball-joints and tie-rod ends

Arlo... go re-bed the brake pads first and see if that fixes it. Brake rotors rarely warp, they do however build up deposits which induce vibrations.

Go do 5 stops from 50mph to 5mph at about 70% effort w/o ever stopping... then go somewhere and do 4 or 5 stops from 80 to 0 full abs lockup, then let the car sit overnight.

That should re-bed the pads/rotors. If that doesn't fix it then go get new pads/rotors.

never heard of this, but it sounds fun.

Just dont park/sit on the brakes right after. Give them time to cool.
