Default 240sx help!!!!!!!

ok so last week when i was swapping out the turbo elbow on my car i came outside and when i got under my car to bolt up the down pipe i noticed there was a little bit of power steering fluid on the floor.well its been getting gradually worse and now every time i stop the car for any period of time there are spots from where its dripping.i know its leaking from the rack itself,i was just curious as to if the seals/o rings (i dont know what are on the ends of the rack to seal) can be replaced seperatly or if the entire rack must be replaced.also if it does have to be replaced can i use one off of an s13 and does anyone have one(s14 or s13 if i can use it).

cliffnotes:
1.steering rack leaking
2.can i swap out seals or does the rack have to be replaced?
3.if replacement needed can i use an s13?
4.does anyone have one?

It could be comming from your pressure line...I just replaced mine, it goes from the pump to the rack. To tell 100% where it is coming from jack it up, whipe everything down, then move the steering wheel back and fourth w/ somebody under there to tell you where it is squirting out. I am pretty sure if it is not one of the hard lines in the rack you'll have to replace the whole thing and I am pretty sure S13 and S14 racks are completely different. As far as finding one....you'll need to find someone parting out one and try and get it cheap. I got my 150 dollar pressure line for 50 bucks shipped off Zilvia.

well when i had it up on jack stands before and was underneath it i could tell it was coming from the ends of the rack, the lines were all fine,i made sure we were careful when we put everything in not to damage any of the hard lines.also the spots on the ground from the leak were mainly right underneath each end of the rack and then a little inbetween but all in a straight line directly underneath the rack itself.i will be double checking again but im pretty sure im gonna need a new one.

If your seals are leaking on the rack it would probably be best to replace the whole rack due to the fact that the seals are leaking and if those are leaking what condition is the rest of the rack in..
