Has anyone heard any progress on this? if its actually getting built or what. ive heard some rumors that they have already started building. after some looking around, it seems to be just that, rumors.

www.dragonsridge.com. That site hasnt changed in about 3 years. It may or may not be in the process of being built. It's not a rumor, but there is a lot of confusion on when it's going to be completed, and no one knows for sure. No one knows whats the hold up, no one knows anything.

 

Last I heard all thats been built was an access road, no idea at this point that was several months ago, but as I recall I heard that the road wasn't seeing much activity at that time, either.

DragonsRidge Motorsports Park

DragonsRidge Motorsports Park is a proposed Road Course and Kart facility to be built in New Kent County, Virginia, just east of Richmond. The facility would include a 3 mile road course and a 1 mile Kart track. Also planned are combined garage and sleeping facilities for race teams, and retail, office, and resort development

As of this revision (June 2006) the developers are working with the county staff on the permitting process. There is some local opposition, and the real chances that this track will be built are unclear.
