I recently got a much better paying job,and the Fit has only 4k left before its payed off. I have decided that once i pay my credit cards off this month im going to pick up a project car. I want an Old school Toyota. heres what im thinking so far. Comments/experiences welcome.

1) MkII Supra with a Lexus V8 swap and eventual twin turbo.
2) MkII Supra with 7MGTE swap
3) MkIII Supra
4) early 70's Celica with Silvertop Swap
5) 70's Corolla
6) other (state what "old school" Toyota you suggest )

Sleeper... I've given it serious thought and if i come across one for sale it would be hard for me not to jump on it.

 

70's Celica with a 1 or 2Jz swap

 

mk3 with 2jz single turbo swap

 

sc300+6speed+turbo.

 

From what i understand its a complicated swap. I assume a 90-92 maybe a little easier since they they came with 1jz's. A targa would be nice to have in the summer.

Thanks for the Ideas. Whatever i get it'll be a cash in hand deal because i don't want to incur any more dept then i need to. (when i go into the USAF im gonna take a pay cut)
