I lowered my car on Saturday and took it to merchants for an alignment. to keep the story short they bullshitted a couple times and eventually informed me they couldnt fix the toe because the camber was off. The camber is off less than 2 degress all the way around, and ive never heard of anyone not being able to fix the toe because of camber. Then again, i've never aligned a car myself so i dont know.
I'm assuming something happened where they just didnt want to fuck with it, but I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a well priced, trust worthy shop that can do alignments. I liked the 1 year waranty on the alignment so i could bring it back in whenever and get it aligned for free; any other shops do that?
No, I live in VB. I thought you were talking about one out here that sucks. But go to an alignment shop, not an all purpose shop, those seem to do them way better.
yea, i figured the alignment shops would do better. I was hoping for some local advice as to where the best deal was. I really like the 1 year free deal.
Do you have a camber kit? If so go to Sears Tire America. Its $64.99 and comes with a 1 year warranty if im not mistaken. If you dont have a camber kit then they won't touch it. Thats going to pretty much be the same story where ever you go.

so they can't correct the toe if the camber is off?
i really want to get the toe fixed until i can ship the camber kit back and get it exchanged. if the alignment comes with a year warranty, then i would bring it back and have them correct the camber as soon as i got the camber kit in.
Honestly they wont even pull it in the bay if they see it's lowered and the customer dosen't have a camber kit. What happened... company send you the wrong kit?
