Does the oil return line have to braided stainless steel or san it be made out of another material?

pretty much yes, it has to hold high pressure #1, and #2, it keeps it intact, unkinked, and protects it from drive belts and whatnot

the oil return line is not under pressure you can use any hose that oil will not hurt just make shure it dosent kink

I agree with dahatch. It doesnt have to be braided. It just has to be able to withstand petroleum and heat and kink free.

Chris, once you mount your turbo and DP, then eyeball how you are going to route the drain line. You can get pre-bent or preshaped heater hose from any local automotive parts store....

Do not use heater hose. It is not desighned to deal with oil and will become damaged by it over time. I have had to fix this for several customers. Go to any local hydrolic suply and tell them what you are doing and what size you need and they will be able to get you hose to work properly for your aplication.

Most heater hose are rated to withstand petroleum. It is less expensive to produce a product that will take on both heat and petroleum, rather than just heat or pretroleum by itself.

Ive had a heater hose on mine for over 15k miles and no problems yet. Just make sure its not kinked anywhere

That was my mistake. I cant read, i was referring to the feed line. not the return. Sorry guys
