wideband 02/chrome p28 (honda)
I feel really dumb starting this thread, but searching h-t isn't answering my question....
My setup is tuned with crome on a p28.
If I want to run a wideband o2 sensor/controller, do I need to install a second bung, or will the bosch 1 volt output work in place of the stock o2 sensor?
Also, is there any problem with the AEM controller/gauge? Should I spend the extra money to get the PLX?

I can't answer your question about that. I don't think you can honestly.
I have a AEM Wideband in my car. I have a second bung on my car and I solely use it for watching my air-fuel.
It's worth it in my own opinion. Thats the only gauge I'd have if I were on motor.
Boost = gauges.
*edit*. If my car were running, I'd let you check it out. It's a nice gauge. Comes with black or silver bezel(ring around the gauge) and white or black face. Also reads in lambda(sp?) if you want to, I'm not using that).

if you get a wideband controller with a WIDEBAND output and a NARROWBAND output, it'll work fine with the p28. You'll only need that one wideband o2 sensor.

oh yeah....I'm getting a wideband...
I'm just hoping I don't have to install another bung, for cleanliness sake...
nobling cars are clean when jacked up.

I know if you get a FJO wideband you can control your signal voltage to the same as stock. They're pricey but nice, they also use a NTK O2 + Bosch.

totally unrelated, but not worthy of it's own thread:
Can you turn off the O2 sensor heater trouble code with crome?
