i found a great deal on ebay for an uppipe and manifold for my wrx but im not too sure about buying it from ss auto crome.has anyone bought anything thing recently from them. hows the quality?

everything i hear about ss autochrome is bad. i hear multiple multiple stories of their manifolds cracking. remember, 99% of the time, you get what you pay for.

I bought some headers for my 300zx never had a problem with them. I wouldnt buy no turbo manifold from them or anything.

i made 200whp on a single cam with 10psi with a ssautochrome kit tuned with crome, that was a year ago, i have since sold the car to a friend and he drives it daily NO problems....visit their website and look at how much they want for retail it gets pricey.....i think they liquidate their stuff on ebay i.e. maybe the end of a model run....i dunno

ssautochrome is hit or miss.. some is good.. some is bad

i have also seen lovefab manifolds crack after about a weeks worth of use they came with no supports on the manifolds. so i can't always say you get what you pay for the only manifolds thst i seen that hold up well are the cast ones or tubular ones with supports...just the cast ones don't look to pretty

never heard much bad except 1 dude i know cracks every single manifold by them.... turbo fine tho
