I hada fenderless 32 Coupe with a catalog Ford 427 (~1106hp and 900 somethin torque) and ran in the high 9's. What are you doin wrong?
It's been several months since I played though.

The best tires, when I was playing, was the 235 rain tires in the rear. I had some 3-speed tranny and a 4.56 rear end. My car smoked.
Are there any new parts in the game since at least 3 months ago?

 

I put it in Neutral, rev to 3 and go to first on the last yellow.

when is that shit gettin' shut down? i was about to sign back up for it and they sent me an email saying since no one played they were shutting the game down and wouldn't let me reactivate my account.
