thread hijack.....

Post up some pics of that ranger with 35's on it. My girl has a 99 4.0 5 spd with a 3" body and 33's. Ive been thinking about cranking the torsion bars a tad and seeing if it would fit some 35's.

well to fit the 35's i had to crank up the torsion a pretty good amount and i got some shackles for the back, chevy drop shackles lift a ranger 2-3 inches, could go with an aal as well.......

with 15x8's and 35x12.50

with stock 16x7's on 315/75/16

my personal opinion is to stick with 33's, 35's wear the shit out out the hub assemblies, and there like 250+a pop....ive got 4.10's and it still moves it pretty good and i only have the 3.0 and an auto, there was no rubbing whatsoever with the 15x8's and i rub at full turn with the 16x7's, if ya need anything else let me know.......bump up for some rims.....

I have some 33x12.50 BFG all terrains on black wagon wheels. I was trying to get 300 for wheels and tires, Tires are so-so tread. If i had to seperate... 200 for rims, 100 for tires? Maybe 150 for tires and 150 for rims if you can find a buyer for the tires.

Also, how much can you crank on the stock torsion bars before it starts wearing ball joints and tie rod ends. Hers has the pulse vacuum hubs, so i dont have to worry about it wearing cv axles driving around town. Ive read on all the ranger forums, but theres 6 different answers to every question. Thanks for the info, and let me know if you want those rims.

so are you selling your eagle 589's? I may buy them from you, if the price is right.

to be perfectly honest i dont know, i cranked mine a decent amount to get the 35's in there but im def not sure on how much is too much, i know i am about due for some ball joints but ive also got about 50k of lifted miles on my truck so i think its about time whether they were cranked or not, pretty much the same story for my tie rods, pulse vaccuum hubs blow, they just are so unreliable, they may have done good this far but trust me they will stop working when you need them the most, there is a hub mod where you take out a metal piece in the hub and it makes the front end a live axle set up, like the 00 1/2's and up rangers, doesnt effect your gas mileage and is way more reliable, there are also some manual hubs out now made by avm, they are next on my list of crap to get for my truck....
