what to use to remove spray paint???
hey im trying to take some spray can paint off some rims and sand it down to get it professionally paint.. im thinking its laquer or enamel based spray paint used on it...
the paints black and looks like its been on for a while
if anyone knows any products i can get at a local store.. advance auto parts, autozone, lowes, home depot.. walmart... etc

dont use sandpaper, go to the autoparts store and buy aircraft paint remover.
follow the directions, paint will come off easily, and strip the rim down to bare metal. then give it to the paint shop in that condition, and let them prep them.
