Default 96 prelude vtec

Hey guys i have a friend buying a 96 prelude vtec, tell me what he should look for. the car has 140,000 miles minor mods like cat, and cams. I think he wants between 6-6.5k. tell me does this sound about right. any info of what he should look for plz tell him thanks

well its a honda and they are usually good as far as reliability. things i would check for are timing belt/water pump, suspension components, and for any leaks. also if you know of any mechanics you can perform a compression test that would be wise as well

i would jsut check for damage, any signs of wear, and get a mechanic that you trust to look it over and make sure everything is good on it
