thats why i passed the electricity/electronics, brakes, steering and suspension ASE certification tests back in high school.
everything you need to pass those tests is in a good textbook. retaining it all/being able to apply it to the questions asked on the test might be tricky and thats where the hands on experience of actually seeing the situations in real life comes into play.
TCC. They prepare you for ALL of the ASEs. Awsome intructors. Lots of hands on stuff. Cheaper than EVERYTHING else iv ever seen....plus if you want you can get an associets degree, just do the 2 year program and youll leave with the knowlede AND the degree.
