best way 2 get power out of an h22
i was thinkin about doing an all motor set up spraying a 50 shot of NOS in a coupe b/c my friend just went turbo and a couple weeks of being turbo now he needs a bottom end. i think an all motor set up would be better than turbo b/c its more of a sleeper. and nobody knows what you have, being turbo isnt a suprise. i would like to get some feed back.
if i built tha head all crower and im undecided on the bottom end such as pistons,rods,and rings. . if i did that and sleeved the motor to be a 2.4 or 2.5 liter with the 50 shot. what kind of hp am i looking to be getting. and could i daily the car on 13.5 comp pistions or is 12.5 the highest you can go for driving like on the weekends and such?? thanks for the info.

is this h22 in a hatch or prelude or what? If its in a lude you can forget about all motor. Its just gonna be a turd with all that weight. Just go ahead and go turbo and make sure you get it tuned to prevent having to buy a new bottom end right away

1. your friend must have failed to make sure the motor was safe to boost on in the first place. did he get it tuned? there is no Half Assing when working on motors, which i see a lot of fresh turbo people doing. ask SOHCMshue, im sure he'll tell you tuning is the key.
2. sleeper you say? so you'll be running this on the street i take it? turbo>NA on the street unless its a K or a NASTY ass Bseries.
+ its hard finding parts at good prices for H motors.

yea my friend got his tuned but it was a shitty tune (thats what he told me)
and an all motor set up in a 93 coupe would be nasty. nobody will know what you got.. and to fully build the head with all crower would be about 1200. but what should i do about bottom end, do you guys recmond n/a pistons rods and rings. and what about sleeving the motor.

If ur lookin for an all motor bottom end pm Coolguycar he has a Nasty ass bottom end he is tryign to sell now that he bossted his b series

i remember reading about a h to b kit that allows you to place a b series transmission to a h series motor, if i remember reading it correctly it should allow you to accelerate a lot quiker since the way that the transmissions are geared. but for a daily not shure how this would work but figured i would add it as a idea. the kit was made by evolution if you wana look into it.
