Default biking at night anyone?

Would anyone want to go mountain biking at night.....tonight? I've got my blackburn X3 headlight and I'm ready to ride. we could go anywhere, seashore, york river, wahrani, hardwood mill, etc.

Wrong.. in the state of Va. you must have a Headlight or white light that can be seen from atleast 500ft. and a Blinking red Taillight to ride anywhere after sunset... Straight from the Cops Mouth as he is writing two friends of mine $178.00 Tickets for NO Headlight on Bike...

yea and most mountain bikers dont have reflectors either....not like it really matters tho. if youre urban riding its typically not going to be something a cop would be too happy with if he saw.

A mountain bike does not need reflectors as long as its not ridden on the street at night. The first thing I do whenever I buy a new bike is take off all reflectors, and plastic spoke guards behind the chainrings.

what does that MEANNN? lol

does anyone want to plan any night rides in the future? We need to go a bit later because it will usually be illegal to ride at any of the public bike trails that we'll go on.

Lets plan for something later this week.
