Default Fuse problem

I have a 95 civic coupe and i put a set a jdm fogs on it and just ran the fogs to my corner lights and i kept blowing fuses and when i blow one my taillights, cornerlights, and gauge cluster goes out. But i put a 40amp fuse the last time by mistake and i turned my lights on and i saw smoke and cut the lights off but anyways now when i get in my car i turn my lighs on the heat comes on and my right turn singal stays on all the time with the lights turned on. (any suggestions of what may happen)

Would take some diagnosing and troubleshooting of the wires, but my guess is you overheated some wires that may have melted together. You learned the hard way that using a higher amperage fuse can lead to bad things.

Wire it up like the foglight kit says to do.

And don't change the fuses.

Simple.

Thats the fuse setup I have. I can't remember 100% which goes to the fogs, and which go to the switch.

The one to the left IIRC go to fogs. You have to put a fuse in it though.

You've gotta have a relay or the fuses will blow like a cheap hooker. Should be the second aux spot Jarrod was talkin about. [empty] [X] [empty] [Fogs] [empty] The others may be filled if you have an alarm or other accessories. Keep postin if you still have troubles. I'll snap a few pics of the wiring and post them. Might not be till thursday or so.
