i have one similar to this...

http://www.bikebandit.com/product/4521

paid $89.00 for it at cycle world about 4 months ago...still has price tag on it...can take pic of actual stand if you like....sell for $60

lifts from the swingarm, (not the spools) and is adjustable for width.

Ill consider it, let me see what everyone else has. Is there any stability difference in how a swing arm stand vs a spooled stand hold the bike?

none at all that i've seen...i've used both...been using this one w/my cbr 600 rr...(which is for sale too by the way)...and it works great...used it for oil changes, chain lube, and general storage sometimes....never had any problems.
