hmmm, how would you legalize your skyline once you buy it for US DOT and EPA? It would cost you an additional 15-20k to do that on top of the price of the car.

Zak...it's up to you. If a Skyline is what you want, then get it if you think you can afford it. The Si is really nice though. I think you would be good with either.
That is true. But you CANNOT compare those cars. My opinion, I would prefer to drive almost anything over a Civic. And if you can budget a Skyline, a Civic should not even be an option.
