id put money that you put it in the tranny but it popped out of the cluster. all you would have to do is take apart your dash and put the speed sensor back into the cluster. easy fix.

Did you put the retaining clip back through the cable where it goes into the transmission? If so, I'd check to make sure it's still plugged into your cluster like previously mentioned. My retaining clip fell out on mine and the cable itself won't have enough pressure to engage the teeth on the speedo gear. That clip makes sure it stays down far enough to keep the teeth engaged. 10 cent part will keep that speedo from working. Let us know

hmmm right man the vss goes to tranny then to the back of the cluster man thats what im taking about when he was trying to put it back in he coulda pulled it out of the cluster by accident ID PUT MONEY ON IT i no what im talking about he said that he was sure it was in the tranny so if he is sure its in the tranny then it prob is not in the freaking cluster. its either not in the tranny or the cluster or he broke the cable (unlikely) it could be the clip but it probally would have worked for a couple seconds then went out. i dont have the clip in my crx and my boy doesn't have it in his integra but maybe we are just lucky

ls96swap how much money do you owe me? ill take it in large bills

Ok let me set it straight. Its not the vss which is on the back of the cluster. You either didnt push the cable in all the way which can result from aftermarket motor mounts getting in the way. Or you pulled the cable housing out of the clip that slides onto the vss in the dash. SO make sure you pushed the cable down and if it doesnt work still, take the dash apart. I dint even care about big bills ill take my money via paypal.
