Additional Information: up for sale is a 2002 400ex bored over to a 440. this bike is in great shape and runs very good. the motor was rebuilt about 7 months ago and the following parts were replaced. timing chain, head bolts, new hot cams stage 2 cam, clutch basket, head gasket, all internal parts were taken out and cleaned up very good. heres a list of all the aftermarket parts.

HMF muffler

FMF power Bomb header

ITP wheels

Lonestar rearend bearing holder with brand new bearings

FMF seat cover that is a great cover and dosent let the rider slide at all

Factory FX graphic kit

K&N air filter

Wiseco 11:1 compression piston and rod and pins

Hotcams stage 2 cam

ITP holeshot tires

the fenders have been shaved and give the bike a really mean look

Wheel spacers on the front

new set of handle bars but they are fading

a set of 15 front 38 rear tooth sprocket with a brand new chain but has surface rust on it.

The 400ex is a great bike. I raced one for a few years. Not to be disrespectful, but your about $2k overpriced. I sold my 01 440ex about 3yrs ago for $3800 and it had full Custom Axis suspension, LS axle, Houser +3 long travel, etc.

For $4500, you can buy a used Honda, Yamaha, or Suzuki 450 that will walk the 440 all day long.

nope the only thing that would maybe walk this is a predator 500 troy lee edition or a yzf450 and thats all.
