Default Cracked rotor?

Has anyone else cracked a rotor?

I've warped rotors... glazed rotos but today is the first time I flat out broke a rotor. The right rear rotor cracked all the way across the surface to the center, then about 75% around the base.

Anyways, some drilled rotors only ran me like $64 each so it was a good excuse to put new rotors all around.

I've never cracked one, but I've never road raced or braked hard for long periods of time.

Also, this thread is going to turn into a "do drilled rotors promote cracking?" debate, so be prepared.

I was in it all of 5 minutes when I heard some scraping when I approached the stoplight. I thought I had something in my tire... sadly I was wrong.

At least rotors are cheap. And I bought cheap napa replacement stuff so I don't expect these to be stellar performance parts.

And apparently the rear brake vent in the Z06 doesn't work well, if overheating was in fact the cause of this. And I highly doubt that to be the case anyways.
