Default shop to install clutch?

the clutch on my beater needs replacing. does anyone know of a cheap shop i can have it done?

EB3 seemed to specilaize in Domestics. They were pretty cool, although the guy that works at the desk doesn't know too much. Their machinist is really cool. They're off Lee Road in Chantilly.

If you don't like them, I'd suggest Curry's. But I'm sure they'll cost alot more.

You can be the EB3 guinea pig; let us know how they do. From what I've seen, they're not idiots with tools.

Oh, and if you're just looking for a "cheap" place for regular work, Perfection Auto in Sterling is pretty inexpensive.

hmm, i may try that. im takin it to Cottman in manassas today because they were the first shop i called the said they dont want to do it if it doesnt need a new clucth and just needs adjusting. so ill see what they say.

Cottman's = goodbye transmission (if you have an automatic). They couldn't pay me to touch my vehicle. I wouldn't let them change a light bulb! Of course, the Manassas location could be entirely different than the 757 one.

damn - hope this one is better. ive never heard of them. figure ill give it a shot. i know its not my tranny. its the clutch, or it just needs an adjustment

its an 87 bronco II 2.9L 4x4 5spd
