If any of you remember me
If any of you have read my threads about trying to get my turbo d-series started(if u have thank u for your time and advice), I just wanted to say i finaly broke down and took it to dyno inc. I feel like such a retard!!! It was the GOD DAMN DISTRIBUTOR all along. I didn't think that was the problem because i was getting spark at the time. But now i know a bad dizzy won't just give you no spark, but a weak one as well.
Well in the words of Hatebreed," A LESSONED LIVED IS A LESSON LEARNED!"
Anyone else run into a simple problem they couldn't figure out and felt like a dumb ass afterwards?

guilty ........
I'm the dumbass how took his stock bumpers off, saw two wires hanging from the back of the car, conected them , and rolled out w/ the body kit install.
I spent two months trying to find out why I kept blowing fuses...
they were the two wires that go to the license plate light..........

Congratulations on getting your boosted project running.
This is kind of relevant to what your asking. My cousin got a mint EK hatch for 1700 because the speedo was going crazy, the alternator wasn't charging the battery and the headlights and taillights kept dimming. Well the alternator and speedo share a fuse, which was blown. New fuse and the car now runs absolutely flawless. He got a steal

I've done a couple.
I put my headgasket upside down at 2am. The car ran at 4am. Fun times.
I blew my motor up from a oil leak that I knew I had, it was horrid. Won the race but blew the motor.
