My Dad is installing his AEM cam gear and would like to know if anyone has got the HOOK-UP cam and ignition timing deg for the Si engine. He has DC sport header, AEM cai, catback exhaust.

in the instructions it says that you need to tune at the track or on a dyno. We would like to know what is a good starting point.

it should say something like advancing will give more top-end and retarding will give more torque...
find a happy medium if it's a street driven car. go in small increments like a degree or two at a time. yes, a dyno session should prove to be the best tool for tuning a car with cam gear(s).
