Anyone know were the manufacture date is on an Ford 460 Big Block?

my poppa dukes said there is no manufacture date on it, just a manufacture code...

there is a casting year which is coded, stamped on the block behind the timing chain, I believe.You would need to find a database the deicphers the codes though
