good place to get non-honda JDM engines?
friend of mine's MKIII non-turbo supra had it's motor go kaboom.. thinking seriously about swapping a 7MGTE in... can't find any good deals anywehre though and not trusting e-bay unless we have too.. need suggestions

soko is another jdm engine dealer thats pretty good i hear..
gte swap isn't to bad or hard
just need a good bit of parts..
for the swap check out... http://www.speedtoys.com/~stryder/conversion.html
lists everything you need and where you can probably find it...
the guy that made the site does swaps all the time..
1jz is another good swap.. but... going to be a bit harder then the 7m.... most jz engine that came in MKIII's were autos..
So you would need a bellhouseing to get the 1jz to bolt to the r154 5-speed tranny..
have to get a 2jz trottle cable..
new powersteering lines
have to have the 89+ crossmember
have to extend the wiring harness because its now going in a LHD car not a RHD.
