Default tire question?

i'm running 190-50's on my 04 gsxr1000 and i currently have pilot power 2ct's. after these are done i'm planning on going with pirelli corsa III's through nesba for my street tires and everybody's been telling me to get super corsa pros for the track. it looks like those can still be considered a street tire but take a little longer to warm up. my question is do i have the tire wrong that their telling me to check out? it looks like they only have a 180-55 and a 190-55 both in 2 different tires (guessing compound)? thanks for any help

I've really own seen track tires come in 55 and 60, I had 190/50 on my zx9r before, but I switched to 180/55 when I got the 2ct's, I like to lean

Default Re: tire question?

180 is a superior tire. MotoGP bikes tried going to a 190 and found that turn in was considerably less. I always laugh at the big tire posers, if Rossi and Hayden can go 200 m.p.h. on a 180, you can also.

Can any of the people recommending those Corsa Pros ride to the ability of Corsa IIIs on track or not? Most street riders, those who ride track days included, can't use a normal street compound to it's limit. Guess they like spending money on fancy name rubber.
