im bout to buy an acura integra for 2 grand... its got power windows and locks. power steering and a sun roof. its body is nice.. not dented and its only a 96'. the interior is nice, its all cloth. the color is a lite gold/ champagne color. it has a cd player inside.. but needs some work with the speakers. the price of this car is 2 grand... it makes no sense to me ... the car is worth about 7 grand.. right?? i need suggestions on what to do with it and why sumone wud sell a car like that for that kinda price........ integrababe

OMG, for that price there are several causes.

1) the engine is shit... have them start the car, look to see the color of exhaust comming out, listen to see if the idle is constant, and that it doesnt sound like a Salsa band...

2) the person is selling the car from a bitter divorce or breakup...ive seen that happen before

well i dunno its fishy.. is the ad online or anything? id get in contact with the person and find out how he car has been maintanined...

naw.... the car belongs to a guy that lives down the street from me.... he bought the car for 3 grand.. and then hes supposed to be just sellin it cuz his kid cant get it .. i dont know .. i did hear sumtin about a divorce but.. it wud still make sense for him to sell it for all its worth.. even if he didnt get it for the right price... and no.. the car aint got ne problems... with the engine i mean.... from what mah pop tells me its supposed to be a really good car.. specially for mah first... its supposed to last a while

I'm a car dealer. If the miles are in the 100,000 range, and there is no adnormal wear or signs of abuse, then it sould retail for about $6250. Maybe more if it's really nice.

Just to give you an idea of the STUPID deal you're getting. A buddy of mine just bought a 94 LS with all the same stuff on it. 125,000 on it. He paid $5500 I think it was. He had to look hard and wide to find one that cheap. He looked for three months before he bought that one.
