I just got a 90 rs interga w/b18a1 boosted. It has a j1 tranny that is trashed, so I havent taken it for a ride because I still havent got'n a new tranny..... hope I can get one tonight if this guy calls me back. Well today we were going through the car looking for any leaks, checking hoses, brakes, and when i reved the car up it has a rev limit at 4k? What could this be?

 

Is the check engine light on? And is it a stock ECU? if not could just be launch Control. thats prolly what it is considering its boosted.

 

the ecu has been messed w, there is a usb cord coming out of it? I dunno. No check engine light.

 

yeah its wide open launch control, so you can come off the line wide open. and soon as you gt 1mph, it revs all the way out.

I took out the tach, got rid of that gay bumper, did the ICP and FMIC flat black, brakes and new wheels. I am also doing the trans and exhaust......
