Default My new toy moves....on its own.

My tintop is slowly coming together. I have to install a front driveshaft and rear brake lines, then its ready to play!!! Had fun in my yard yesterday in 2wd. No brakes made it more exciting!

This is when we were building the front, custom bumber, yota IFS steering and hy-steer, yota axles, f250 shock towers, jeep YJ leafs...

This is when i brought it home.

Trail gear spools, front and rear. It won't be street driven much...so i just spooled both. E-lockers are hot, but if they fail......

I still have some stuff to finish, my front bumper will get a stinger and winch mount, i need to install my 6.5:1 t-case gears...and get my "newer" tires mounted. I REALLY need to finish my front driveshaft and get it in.

THEN i need to get out to the GWNF and go for a ride. I am hoping to head out there late july, if i can find a few people to wheel with.

Gotcha, if the e-locker motor ever goes out and you don't wanna replace it then downey and inchworm both make a cable driven system to engage and disengage the locker.. similar to an ox locker.

i just pulled some 5.12's outta a tracker that are goin into my rig as well, so that should be fun, if i have money i'm probably gonna do a rear spool from rocky road.

all my money is goin to motor/gears, i have a SPOA on old ass leafs, and 31'' claws...... i'm lookin to get into trails, not so much chest deep mud...

I plan to steer around mud...and head for the rock. I have 4.11 gears currently, which are stock in yotas. I have the 6.5:1 tcase gears and i want 5.29's...The 16 valve should be in right after Zu on the rocks.

I am pretty much setup the way i want, now its fine-tuning and a exo-cage.
