Whats up. I have posted similar post before and still have not quite found a suitable project. I appreciate all the responses to my last couple tries though.

What I am looking for is an older Chevy, Chrysler, Pontiac, ect.... Something not to overworked or rusted out. I definitely do not want a restored, show quality car. I am looking for something I can put the wrenches to on the weekend out in the garage. I would prefer a car but not against picking up an old truck.

I am interested in whatever you might know of or have sitting out in the backyard. I do have specific taste however. If I dont like it or am not interested I will let you all know. I also do not buy coal at diamond prices, so if all you have is a shell, dont be asking fifty grand for it. Its annoying to see someone who has a car that when fully restored its worth 40K but it will cost at least that much to get it worth that, and they want 15K just for the body and a couple tires. I am just looking for a Toy here, something I can build a motor, do some interior work, and practice painting. I am no professional but I enjoy doing it.

C'mon, somebody's got to have something worth a damn. I am really not that picky, just some old rust bucket that dont have four doors and has some valid potential. I have a 283 SBC in the garage on the floor that needs something to push around. If anyone has anything I am up for consideration, just let me know 1. What it is, 2. Where it is, and 3. Noone has anything with potential. I am not looking for something perfect, I really dont care if it has an engine. as long as most of the car is there and its worth my time to look into putting it together. Car?Truck, whatever. I prefer an old Chevy but thats not required. if anyone has an old camaro, that would be perfect, prefer 70's models, 73 to 79. Thanks (maybe).

one is a 72 has some modifications, the other is 78 both a longbed chevy c10s

 

not really what i am looking for, not into the longbeds, if they were short then there would be some potential for me, looking to build a toy, not really a work truck, thanks though, at least you took the time to post something. i cannot believe no one has something their wife insist they get rid of or some thing wasting away in the back yard and dont have the time for it. well i am still looking i guess, heading off to the great north-west next weekend till september so hopefully better luck when i get home.
