What are your opinions on the T3 super 60 on a D16. I thiink my T3/T4 is a bit big, and it also has a blown seal, so i am thinking of switching it up due to the fact that a super 60 will cost about the same or less than a rebuild.

what are your hp goals? alot of people are running t3/t4 57 trims on the d and love them, what trim are you runnin?

 

That is a good turbo for a d series. That is what I would have been upgrading too. Spool well and make great power.

 

Why dont you just rebuild your turbo?

Dont buy into the hype.

 

t3 super 60=good streetable power, with good spool time.

t3t4=goos top end with slow spool, more for high hp setups.

i say go with a super 60 for anuything under 275whp

Well my motor is completly stock internaly right now and im only reving to like 6600. Plus my HP goals aren't anything above 250 whp.

I guess ill just save the t3/t4 for when i build my motor.

Ok I got the turbo on my car and its great. Much faster and realistic than the other one. 48/hot and 60/cold. I hit 9psi by 4000 rpms. I love it. It actualy drives like the turbo belongs there.

 

had a .48 .63 on my 2.slo golf.... ran as you described " like it belonged there"

 

If your t3t4 had a .48 hotside it would react similar.
